Cleaning and negotiating services:

The three cottages share two dedicated cleaners, Augusto and Pedro, who ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay. They will visit the cottage twice a day to make the beds, do the dishes, sweep the floors, and even assist you in negotiating the best prices for fresh seafood – whether it’s fish, prawns, calamari or crayfish – straight from the beach. They will also clean the fish for you.

Their services are included in your daily rate. Please note that while they do not handle laundry, they can help arrange for someone to wash your clothes for a fee.

For any assistance or concerns during your stay, Raul, the supervisor, is available to help.


Change in security:

As from 1 October 2025 it is no longer possible for Tofo Beach Accommodation to provide a guarding service. Therefore, instead of increasing the daily accommodation fee, going forward guests will have to request, before taking up their accommodation, that a guarding service during their stay be introduced to them, which cost will be for their own account. The present (September 2025) daily wage for a security guard amounts to approximately Meticais 410 (ZAR 120 / US$ 6,5). The arrangements and payments will be directly between the guests and the individual security guards.

Vehicle requirements

The cottages are accessible with a normal vehicle. You don’t need a four-wheel drive (4×4).

Smoking

All the houses of Tofo Beach Accommodation are designated NO SMOKING areas. Therefore, please refrain from smoking inside the cottages. You are welcome to smoke outside, on the veranda.

Hammock

There are hammocks at all the houses to use. Unfortunately, they can only accommodate tourists weighing less than 60kg.
